Happy Landings!

My favorite part of an airline flight is the descent to landing, the time when the engines are cut back and it feels like all those tons of steel are just hanging in mid-air although you are travelling at 500 km an hour!  Descended low over the Celtic Sea and saw through my ice crystaled window the southern coasts of Ireland and Wales.  But the best part was finding two of my favorite Londoners whilst strolling around my neighborhood.

Peter Pan in Kensington Park with another boy who never grew up

and

Paddington Bear in, where else, Paddington Station.
He did grow up; in fact his fiftieth birthday is on 13 Oct.

More soon.  I am having much too much fun!
